x100 images from Syria

Sorry folks, no images right now as laptop has been fatally wounded. RIP

X100's holding up well in firefights and very adverse conditions. Outlets all over the world picking up work with no concerns over files etc.

Some small points that maybe some of you can answer or speak two. Disclaimer, I know very well that the X100 was never built with combat operations in mind.

Exposure comp and shutter spead dials very easy to change in error. A bit more resistance would have been great. Having to tape everything up in firefights right now to avoid unexpected changes.

Much like the M8, the drive buttons etc. are very easy to mistakenly bump when in dynamic situations. Recessed or another fix would be highly appreciated!

Focus peaking. Enough said.

With these things in place the camera would be as close to perfect as I have found. I can live with 6 batteries at a time as they are small and light. If I could get my hands on the 28mm lens I would do it in a second and never look back!

I am receiving a new laptop soon and will post images ASAP. Incredibly complicated to get the DHL huh to deliver here :)

You know you can lock the commander wheel functions with a long press on "MENU/OK" and unlock in the same way? Might help, but then again you might forget and it will slow you up.
