X100 spotted in London store

Happened to wander into Jessops on Eldon St in the City yesterday and there was a shiny X100 sitting on the shelf.

Just in case anyone in London is unable to find one.

There's one in Jessops on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow as well (the main store, not the one at the top of Buchanan Street). Oh, and last week Merchant City Cameras (also in Glasgow) had one in the window.

There`s a second hand one in the Leica shop in Manchester.
Traded in for an X1 I understand.

I wonder how much he'll get if he wants to trade back? Trading in on an M9 I can understand, X1 not so obvious. 🙂

Funny that, just been toying with one in a Chichester store.

Nice indeed but it is no Leica M.

Wonder what gave me the impression that it might be...?!

We could do with Fed or Zorki M9 for £1000 complete with yak hide case , a pile of roughly hewn filters and that musty smell...

Seriously though the X100 is very nice and well targetted at old gits like me. It is however around 25% of a used M9...maybe in more ways than one.
