This is an interesting video. The reviewer seems to have attached a 'Thumbs Up' -- a terrific Leica accessory that works really well on my M8.

I think it will only add to the comfort and appeal of the X100. Really glad to see this. I think it would look nicer in silver.

I'm not sure what use the add-on finder is...

I dont get it... why would anyone put an external VF on a fixed lens camera that already has an OVF and EVF?

I just called the shop that made the video....they are selling for 32,900 Baht (1,076 USD)and they are getting them in around the 16th of March.....but, there is already a long waiting list for them...BTW, I didn't ask him about the viewfinder...LOL

probably but I'm not sure. I'm actually considering a thumbs up, just to keep my thumb off all those buttons on the back of the camera.

My eagle-eye super powers™ tell me it's a TU CSEP-2, i.e. for the Leica X1. Thinner than the standard TU; the standard ones look like they'll foul with the rear jog-dial.

cpharris: interesting point. The CSEP is not as slim as the EP1. I'm going to ask Match Technical if they will make an EP1 for the X100.

I'd buy one. They look pretty useful. I like the soft releases they make too.
