Hey kids:

Just wanted to share some of my work shot with the x100s last week (I shot the whole thing with it since for most of my work I use an M and 35mm lens anyway). I am very impressed with the camera's response and look forward to using it more on the street and again on my next wedding tomorrow.

This was a super fast grab as soon as the bridal suite's door was opened for me.

Cheers,

would you consider consistently using fuji cameras for all your weddings now? or are you still mixing in some film here and there?

Does x100s have minimum shutter speed before raising ISO function (auto-iso)? This is something I missed in the X-E1.

Setting min. Shutter speed has been a fw update on the original x100 for a while now and was part of normal sw image for the new x100s I would assume, since I don't own the new camera. There is a rumor that the min. Shutter speed may be in next fw update for xp1/xe1. But as I said it is only a rumor.

Looking good Riccis. I haven't tried the X100s. But I've been loving the X-Pro1. I'm going to see how the upcoming 56f1.2 looks for my work co pared to my 50 f1.4 and 85 f1.4 Nikkors. Should be Interesting.

So does using digital affect the price of a Riccis' wedding? Or is it the need for speed in this case?

Price is all the same regardless of my use of digital, film or even charcoal :) as what they are paying for is not my gear but my vision, style and approach to documenting their day with own signature (which should always be the same regardless of medium, right? ;))

Cheers,
