is $400. a price for a used one, jamie?
Yes. Used. But these days, it seems there's not enough time elapsed between models to amount to much use.

Joe,
You should definitely look at the Nikon DL's, the 18-50 would be perfect, 1" sensor, nice wide angle range, pocketable, ... oh wait.
As you can see from the camera size, you gain no pocketablility with these cameras over your XE+27. Maybe the Ricoh GR, otherwise you're about done I think. Sorry to try and save you money this time

i just packed my bag with the 2 xe2 bodies and mated them with the 16 and the 56...i can do almost anything i normally do with these 2 lenses. i might throw the 27 in the front pocket to balance out the line up.

what?
Joe, don't overlook a used X-A1 with your 27mm on it.
I just picked up an E+ silver body for $149 + S&H. I love the thing (again!).

Good decision. Use what you have and enjoy the trip.
actually, a sony rx100 series camera would fit even better...was looking at their version 3 and it looks fine.
As a fellow Fuji user (X100F, X-Pro2, X-T2), this Sony is my only non Fuji. It is very good up to ISO 800 and is truly a nice travel camera.

My two cents: I got an X70 last year to cover 28mm equivalent and to check out the Fuji sensor w/out having to spring for an X100 model. I have to say I'm impressed with this little camera. The jpegs with the chrome setting look really nice. The camera takes up little room in my bag, and covers indoor and color shots when I'm shooting slower bw film. Glad I bought the camera. Haven't decided whether to spring for an X100T when prices finally come down.

For me, the x70 is a dealbreaker because of the lack of viewfinder, but even if I were ok without it, I prefer a 35mm fov over a 28mm fov.

Good point, or for those wanting a viewfinder an XE1 or XE2. I had a x100T but sold it to purchase the x100F. After thinking about it awhile I realized I preferred the 28mm FOV compared to 35mm so I canceled the x100F. I wanted a viewfinder so the x70 was out. Went with a used XE2 and will use the 18mm on it. A little deeper than the X100 series but the camera body is very close. I also have an adapted 35mm from a Minox 35 that makes the camera tiny and it fits in the same belt bag I kept the x100T in. If I find a good deal on the 27mm I may pick that up.
As a plus the XE2 is a better backup for my XP2 than the x100F would be too. And at dramatically less cost (than the xp2 or x100F) I'm more willing to bring it everywhere and get some wear and tear on it.
