My XA2 has a piece of dirt lodged inside the viewfinder. Looks a bit like a plant seed, but may also be a bug.
Does anyone here know how to take off the top of the XA2 so that I can clean the viewfinder?

It might be an idea to contact Mablo who has the repair manual and mentioned it in a recent post of mine:

Small update..
I just took the XA2 apart after having found a description of how to disassemble an XA. It's almost the same procedure as the XA, only just a little easier: there's no screw hidden under the shutter button on the XA2 that needs to be taken out.
It's a good thing that I had seen the XA disassembly procedure, because like with the XA there's a small metal roller under the sliding cover that's ever so easy to lose if you're not aware of its existence.
I got rid of the dirt, which indeed proved to be a piece of tobacco. How it ever got into the viewfinder is a mystery. There seems no way into the viewfinder without removing the covering cardboard piece that's on top of it. Somehow I can't imagine the assembly line workers smoking while putting the cameras together..
