The other side of the coin is those that are upset that last years model is no longer the king of cameras and has depreciated by half. Makes you wonder if they use the camera...or just talk about it.
They do provide great opportunities to others.
Capitalism does have it's good parts.

the word that i hate seeing is deal-breaker!
no tilting this...no stand alone button for that...deal-breaker!!!
i'd love a well built, small and basic camera with a whole lot less features, like video...

Too many buttons and menu options!? Deal-breaker!

To Light & Love ...
I almost bought the XE3 today but decided on a used XT1 ...
Weather resistant , bright VF , felt a tad more substantial in my hands / hence steady & great price
Loved the Touch aspect on XE3..RF look, but it felt a little too small, crazy since I am petite
But it all gets down to feel in the hands and the magic in the viewfinder
The Fuji lens I wanted and purchased the 50 f2 ~ 75 eauivalent
Too funny, Miss RF gal goes slr square style body...go figure
Quite pleased !!

i'd have taken you for an xe3 gal...my small man hands like the body with a form fitting grip. the xe3 for me is the closest thing to a digital minolta cle, one of my favourite cameras.
the 50/2 is a treat of a lens, small & sharp.
Cool, glad to see you finally get the 50mm Helen. I love it, as you know. As for me, I prefer the X-Pro2, but sometimes need a smaller body... that is where the X-E3 will come into play. I did the opposite Helen...I'm selling my X-T2 and am getting a X-E3.
Sexy in this photo...

got to see the panasonic gx9 (aka gx7 mkiii) a couple days ago. choosing between that and the x-e3 is going to be tough.

Nah, not so tough... X-E3 all the way for still photography.

Really loving this little beast of a camera. With the 23 2.0 attached it makes a perfect match for my 35mm rf's that always have a 35 2.5 on the front.
It constantly amazes me how many raw files need little or no editing once a basic 'processing' has been done on import.
After a 10 year hiatus from Fuji cameras I am well and truly back under their wing.
