Hi there,

I just purchased a used XPan and shot my first roll yesterday. I put a brand new set of Radio Shack lithium batteries in prior to shooting. The battery indicator showed full power.

This morning I went to shoot it again and it did not power up. I turned it on and off a couple of times then noticed that the battery indicator was on the last bar.

I was finally able to shoot several photos then went home and replaced the batteries. The indicator showed full power.

Just for interest, I swapped out the batteries I had just put in with the supposedly drained ones that I had problems with this morning.

They now show full power!

My question is, is this a common occurrence with XPan's or is it an indication of some sort of electrical problem?

Thanks,
Ric

My batteries, usually energizers or duracells, tend to last about 30 rolls of film in my xpan II. But I am always switching the camera off when not using it.
