I am slowing scanning in the best of 11 rolls of slides I took a few weeks ago. I scanned 11 pictures so far. With all the things I am doing, I am averaging about two pictures a day, so check back often.

There are many notable things about Nikkou temple complex area. One of them is that the Toshogu Shrine complex is the shrine for the Tokugawa family and you could see the 3 hollyhock leave crests on the structures and on the lanterns etc. With 50+ temple buildings and 5 major temple complexes, as the travel posters say: Nikkou is Nippon.
