Hi,

I'm sure this question has been answered before, but does anyone know a lab that can process Xpan prints.?

I bought an Xpan carrier for a Fuji Frontier system on Ebay (!!), took it to my local lab hoping to have solved my problem. Sad to say, they are not able to install it--seems the software to run it is not available.

I don't want to have them scan it. I'd rather have it run through the machine like other film.

Any help on a lab that can handle xpan without having to hand scan will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Bob

Hasselblad used to supply new Xpan owners with a list of labs capable of printing from the panoramic negs. A quick search of the UK Hasselbald site shows that they still carry this info, though its currency /accuracy isn't known. A seacrh of the US site doesn't show simialr information (perhaps I'm not using the right search terms)- you could email them?

Hi

I usually send my xpan transparencies and negatives to Metro Colour at Unit 2 Summerhill Industrial Estate, Goodman Street, Birmingham B1 2SS - see www.metrocolourlab.com ; or to : Loxley Colour Labs - 100 High Craighall Road, Port Dundas, Glasgow G4 9UB - www.loxleycolour.com

Both give good service and can provide develop and print packages or single enlargements from the xpan format

Good luck !
