I've just started printing full frame (as in showing a black border) on my darkroom prints and I've noticed that some of my negatives have the "hasselblad notch" in the upper right corner and some don't.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks,
david

I am scanning 8x10 prints. I normally do not scan my negs but my Epson 2450 scanner with scan the entire neg perfectly. No extra software to make the image.
I am a darkroom guy and the digital thing just doesn't work for me.

Ahhh yes i see what you mean now,
hrmm cant say ive noticed that on any of my trannys, but i think your right about the 35mm - pano thing...
If you took the black border off you wouldnt notice it anywayz

Yeah, I get that. Quite like it, actually... ;-) No idea why it's there though.

That notch is there when the camera is in panoramic mode.
Check your camera without film, you will see.

I use my Xpan II primarily for pano shots, and print them all full frame. All of the pano prints have the notch on the upper right side. The notch doesn't appear on the standart 2:3 shots.
