I have only shot about 5 rolls through my new(ish) xpan, and what i have noticed is that sometimes it can be really hard to judge if your shots are going to be in focus because the area inside the viewfinder dedicated to it is tiny!
Does anyone know if there is a way to increase this in size?

Film is the other way
which lens are you using? If it's the 45 all I could suggest is you get a diopter for the viewfinder.

45mm Lens. Im not an old codger either.. 28 yrs old, and my eyes are good, it just can be really hard to align focus. I shall look into the diopter thing.

Make sure your rangefinder is aligned. It's relatively easy for it to go off alignment on the vertical side. To test, just look at a horizontal line, and it should be straight horizontal all the way through when it is in focus. Check for different focus distance. Also try it with vertical line to check for horizontal alignment, although that does not go out of alignment as frequent.
This is also of course assuming you have clean the rangefinder window, at least the external surface.
