I was ordering my X Pro 1 this weekend, (yay!) and noticed that the $300 kit discount when a lens is purchased at the same time as the body has been extended to November. It was scheduled to end today, for purchases in the USA.

congrats buzz, a great deal no doubt! hw does it work? does one pay full freight and then get $ back from fuji, or does the retailer discount it directly?

The amazon one looks like it was setup as a discount applied directly yo purchase price.

I just got an XPro and the 18/2 and the discount came off the top through the retailer. The savings pay for the M adapter and leave a little on the side.

I ordered mine through Adorama in NY. Savings at time of sale. Free shipping and no tax. Plus they offer it as an in-store kit for only $2 more that includes a spare battery and the protector filter (both original Fujifilm brand) and some other goodies. Can't wait! Putting in order for zoom and 14mm, too...
