Mix in a bucket that will hold five liters. Then decant into five one-liter brown glass bottles. It will last at least a year this way. You can also use it replenished, clearly marking the bottle you are replenishing and then use the other four as replenisher. This also works well. Don't make it more difficult than you have to.

Just an FYI for those who might be seeking an inexpensive 5-litre jug.

I found it in my own kitchen. It is a conventional HDPE jug that holds the 5-litre Heinz vinegar found at Costco. I use it for household cleaning and it costs $2.90 or less, if I remember correctly.
