I should do a new test. I'll try to do the 'lux at f/2. I think you'll be surprised by the comparison between the Summilux and the Summicron both at f/2 and f/2.8 -- I wonder if I will.
The modern cron is always overlooked and passed over by those who prefer the Summicron DR. I've tested both side-to-side before on slide film, and I didn't like the oof rendition of the DR when close-focused, but I liked the DR better at longer distances. I stuck with the tabbed version, since it's much lighter and easier to use, and will mount on every single M-mount body.
