Hi!

I took the top off my Yashica 14e to clean out the corroded batteries which thankfully went ok. During this process the frame counter wheel clicked forward a few times and then the counter/spring combo popped off and unwound.

I guess I need to reset the frame counter gear and then put the frame counter spring combo on so it's under tension. Hope that kinda makes sense!

Can anyone please let me know how to do this? I'll go take some pictures now which might help.

Edit 2: ok put a couple a bits together on the advance lever, just a few bits left. I think I reset the frame counter cog by opening the back which releases it. I then turned it back to the start and it stopped.

I now need to know how the shutter wheel attaches to the cog/post area using those parts.

I think I have worked out that the shutter wheel is fixed to the post and goes under more and more tension as the frames advance. Then when you are done, you open the back which releases the tension via the cog and resets the counter. Does the counter start on S? Also The counter fabric ring seems to be falling apart pretty badly.

Does anyone know of any diagrams around? I should have taken a lot of pics before

Thank you!
