I have my Dads Minimatic C, great little camera, well made, selenium cell/meter still working, beutifull grey leather case with chrome trim and this crappy PLASTIC carry /neck strap!!!! What were they thinking.

I've noticed that about the Yashica's I've picked up lately. Even the Minister D I got for free this week from the original owner. Beautiful cases with cheap plastic straps. Very odd.

I know what you mean. I just received my first Yashica "G" yesterday. I have a "GT" in the mail and I just placed a bid on a "GSN" earlier this morning. Just how many is too many?

The way I look at it, if you are having fun, if you are actually using them, if you haven't had to alter your dietary habits because of a lack of money, then you haven't gotten too many yet.

OK, I got the GT today. Ran around town trying to find a suitable battery and some tubing to make them fit. I found the tubing but was sold the wrong batteries so I will have to return those tomorrow. The GT is in much better shape than the G. Very clean with only a hint of corrosion in the battery compartment. I can't wait to actually put film in them and try them out.

I have just bought an Electro 35 GSN on Ebay,as well as a battery adapter kit from the Yashica Guy. What have I done??? At least the Minimatic C that I already own wont be lonely. The plastic stap always puzzled me as well, beautifull leather case, removeable front/top,chrome trim, crappy plastic strap !! Talk about spoiling the ship for three pennth of tar. Accounts=1,marketing=0.

I've picked up so many lately it's just killing me to try them all out. I got my MG-1 and will finish up my first roll today! I have to say it does seem as advertised. I also got my ME1 a few minutes ago. To tell you the truth I almost hate to touch the thing. It is brand new in the display box with a brand new case, straps, flash, ect. I think my addiction is satisfied for the time being.
