Hi Everyone;
I recently picked up, at a thrift store, a Yashica Electro 35 GX. The camera appeared to be in good condition, other that the fact that there was alot of corrosion in the battery chamber. I used the old white vinigar trick, and cleaned it up nicely, however I was unable to get the electronincs working. I then removed the bottom plate and noticed that a white wire had become detached from the battery chamber due to corrosion. When I attempted to clean up the end of the wire it became detached from wherever the other end was attached. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with this camera, and if they have any advice on repairing this problem. Thanks in advance,
Kevin
