Hi
Iv'e just landed myself an electro 35 cc, I put a roll of kodak elite chrome 100 through it, and every photo except one came out blurry.
My first thought was that maybe my focusing is off, but after close examination there's absolutley no area within the shot which is in focus.
So could this be me shaking? the blur itself looks too smooth to be camera shake (not directional or shifted if you can understand)
i've come from film slr and this is my first rangefinder. My film SLR shots are tack sharp.
I do find i'm having to use alot of pressure to get the shutter release button to the bottom.
This is based off scans of the positives (no prints yet) the scans were done by a photo shop, perhaps they were off in some way?

thanks, jack.

Doesn't seem likely that the blur comes from the print scans. Take a look at the negatives with a loupe, just to be sure.

However your problem sounds more like a misplaced lens element. Maybe someone dissasembled the lens and put it back together wrongly, or maybe some element got displaced by a hard knock.

You could try repairing it yourself, if you are into tinkering; or you could try contacting the recommended Yashica repairmen Mark Hama or camerarefurb.com to see if they can do something for your camera.

Good luck!
