I've got a working Yashica electro ccn with a badly scratched from element. Apart from finding another parts camera, does anyone know where I can get a replacement from element?

Try shooting it, especially with a hood. Front elements can have quite a lot of damage before it has a significant impact on image quality.

If the scratch is deep enough... paint it!
If the scratch is deep enough... paint it!
A deep scratch in a front element can be made to disappear (if it shows at all in images)
Remember, abuse on the front element often does not show in images... on the rear elements.. you have a problem.
A single bristle brush laying black ink/paint IN the scratch may prevent it's capacity to throw a flare into the lens, and may not show up at all in the image.
Have done this before and found it useful.
India ink is good.
LOVE the Yashica Electro 35CCN. Excellent little rangefinder with a unique focal length.
As far as finding other CCN's or parts, have you checked with the YashicaGuy on the internet??

John at Focalpoint was informative and they did a wonderful repair on three surfaces of my Mamiya 75mm Press lens with separation.

One CCN parts camera on eBay, and 8 CC models. right now. All prices look good, with the parts camera $45 or best offer.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was going to try and shoot with it to see anyway. It looks like a skating rink on the front, but hopefully it doesn't affect the images too much. I have a feeling my dubious picture taking skills affect things more anyway!
