Yashica GSN battery cover

I feel like such a noob asking this, but I can't get the battery cover to open. I twist the cover to the left with a coin all i want and it just won't come out. Help please?

NVM. -_- the cap is slightly bent on the inside.

If a coin does not work, sometimes I have better luck with a rubber mat, like a mouse pad. I've also used Rubber Gromets to get stuff off. After that, time for the drill.
