I recently purchased a GSN and all seemed well until I held the camera in portrait orientation (vertical), at which point I started to hear a slight rattling sound. When I held the camera in landscape orientation, the framelines (which are very bright) disappeared.

I noticed when I held the camera back in portrait orientation, the lines re-appeared and as I shifted the camera to landscape, the frames would "flip" out of the way.

Sounds like a little adjustment is needed - but how would I do that?

The diagonal mirror directly behind the frameline mask may have come unglued and is falling in and out of position. You'll need to take the top cover off, find the mirror, and reglue it to the diagonal metal frame. Try to remount the mirror in the same position it was before. The old glue marks may help you with that. And be careful not to get glue on the unmirrored center of the glass.

Before you put the top cover back on, check the little spring at the upper right of the mask (looking at it from the front) to make sure it's hooked onto the tab at the top of the mask.
