Yashica GSN rangefinder problem...

I picked up a mint looking GSN this weekend for $10. I opened it up and cleaned the outside RF glass (left the RF cover intact) and inspected the POD which was perftect, no corrosion to speak of in the battery chamber either. I tweeked the vertical alignment also. Now here is my problem. The rangefinder seems to have a
problem when I focus as it will not move fully thru part of the range of lens focusing range... Is there a linkage problem between the focus ring and the RF I should have a look at? I notice a bit of rubbing from the focus ring about midway thru the focus throw also.

Thanks Gman. Just took it apart again. The rangefinder was not moving freely as you said.
I was not bold enough to remove the whole thing but was able to apply a little pressure to straighten it out a bit to keep from rubbing the bottom of the rf assembly. I used a tiny bit of lube on it and that freed it up, working nice now. Rigged up a 5volt battery to test the camera. I got lights, I got good sounding shutter speeds too. I do have a noisy/rough focus ring, any suggestions to make it smoother? I just put seals in it a minute ago so its nearly ready to go.
