Yashica GTN ASA dial screw?????

Would anyone have one of these for sale? It's got a large/ flat/ skinny head (like some people I know) and simply screws into the shaft and holds down the ASA scale. It also has some rather fragile threads--as I have found out.

Hi Bill,
In case no one here has this part, you can always buy another Yashica GS, the chrome ones without hot shoe, selling for super cheap. Both screws are intechangeable.

And in case you love the esthetics of it you allways may interchange other top castings parts like the winding handle, and the rewind knob.

the last time I needed to replace a screw on a camera I just brought the thing into a hardware store and went though all the various bins of screws untill I found one that did the trick, but if the threads are unusual in some way then it might not work

I have about 4 donor bodies in varying states of salvage, I'm pretty sure I have the screw you need but the parts are all at my other house (presently I'm only there weekends pending sale of the 2nd house), so I cannot be absolutely sure until Saturday. If I have one you are more than welcome.

I thought the term "Jiffy" bag was from the colonies 😛 - it's a padded envelope with either bubble wrap or shredded paper as the padding, inside a kraft outer.

Wow! I just noticed your postal - that's a bit out of the ordinary, but should still only cost the minimum for a small airmail packet. If I can send you the screw, please don't worry about the cost, I'd far rather you sent me a couple of nice temple shots, taken with your Yashica. Does that sound fair?

No problem about a delay--you are more than gracious to help me. In" the colonies" we just call them a padded envelope--whether the padding is bubbles or shredded paper, etc. I hope the postal tariff is small indeed.

'Got plenty of temples, but more fundamentalist churches. It seems there are no other kind of Christians here but the most fervent/ radical. These folks take to brainwashing real easy--the result I guess of 5,000 yrs. of absolute monarchy. Nobody has any inkling of independent thought. Amazing and real boring.
