I can only choose one among these 2.
I love that Yashica enables me to control the aperture but on the other hand, Olympus is lighter.
I am a beginner so some people suggest I should use the Olympus as it is quite familiar to my Minolta himatic f.

If you can, test 'em both and choose one which works OK. If both are in working order, choose which gives you more pleasure to use. They both are great cameras.

Two other advantages the GX has is parallax correction in the viewfinder, and a more standard filter size of 52mm, as opposed to hard to find 43.5mm on the Olympus (which you can get a 43.5-46mm. stepper ring for easier to find filters). But then a 46mm hood might impair the rangefinder. Also easier to find the GX in the all black version if that's what you prefer.

The GX is a better made camera than the Olympus, not that the Olympus is bad.
The 40 f/1.7 lens on the GX is fast, and it is a good performer, the hot shoe allows for automatic flash with the old Yashica strobes. The GX is compact, but not small like the ED, and as mentioned, you can use common 52mm hoods, filters, and lens caps.
