Yashica J repair

I have my father's old Yashica J. One of the aperture blades is out of place (I can see it hanging off). I am not the handiest tool in the box, but I am considering opening it up and seeing if I can fix it. It's not economical to get a pro to repair it, but it is a shame to see this camera out of action.

Is this a tricky job that will end with me destroying the camera completely or an easy fix that I should just get on with?

Suggestions please...

To reach the aperture blades, you would have to remove the entire shutter mechanism, piece by piece. I would never even think of trying it...

This repair can be done, but consider lot of time to be invested. If you have it plus good eyesight, why not if your goal is to revive this particulr camera. You will need donor camera to replace blade if it's damaged....or repair existing one - then results depend on how you will restore it.

If you want user camera, a few bucks will bring you another camera, most probably in better condition.
