I just went to log in on the forum, and there is one of those portal pages full of search links that indicates to me the site has expired, and the name was bought by some troll. Lovely looking lady though. I see her photo everytime the troll strikes.

It was working fine just a couple days ago. It's unfortunate though, that so few people ever posted over there. I was always hoping to see it pick up steam, as I'm an avid Yashica guy.

Yes, it was working very recently, but no one had posted anything in many of the sections, especially the RF section, for months. Maybe they all went elsewhere (including here?) for Yashica RF discussion.

I'll admit, I haven't been posting much there, because quite frankly I've been involved with too many other cameras (doing repairs, and then test shooting them) to be using my Yashicas. But I have been answering queries from the other members on different matters. It seemed to me that most of the traffic was generated by the SLR bunch, and the two that I have are wrecks, so there wasn't much I could contribute to those discussions. I hope to be more active in the group if and when the site comes back.

I attempted to log into yashicaforum.com but forgot my ID and PW so I couldn't log in. I attempted to reregister but of course I'm told that my email address is already in use. Of course it is, it's mine. They sent me a PW which is like a coded secret combination of letters and numbers which I tried but now I'm told I've attempted to log in too many times. Wow, you'd think I was attempted to hack into a Swiss Bank account or something. What gives with that website? I normally write down my ID and PW for various sites but for some reason I didn't for Yashicaforum.com. I tried several IDs and PWs which I've used previously but no soap. After all this trouble I'm not sure I want to be a part of it!!!!

Harlee, just wait a bit over 24 hours, then log-in with the new password. All the steps are to assure the spammers and trolls keep out. Make sure you write down your new log-in in a better place this time.
