Good news, I might be digging out the Vest Pocket Ensign again soon ...
.
Additional - early in the '70s I saw one of the baby Rolleis in a camera shop window, no price displayed. Mesmerised by its beauty, I went in to enquire, but it was just for display, not for sale. I don't suppose I could have afforded it anyway.

I had a chance to buy a Baby Rollei for virtually nothing back in the 80s, but I passed.
Regretting that decision now.

I have, impatiently awaiting use, a Baby Rollei, Primo Jr. and a Sawyer's Mk IV (just a rebadged Primo). These are about the cutest cameras ever.
All have issues but I'm going to see what I can do to get them ready. 127 Superslides -- that is really something to ponder!

Would DM or Rossmann take 127 format?

What reels do you use to process 127? Is it the 'middle' slot on an adjustible patterson reel?

It certainly is. I shall be doing it tomorrow - just pray I can get the old Efke into the spiral in under 45 minutes...

Please let's keep 127 film alive. I have been chasing this stuff around the web since the summer of 2012 when Efke went down. I have three great 127 cameras, a Yashica 44 (lever wind) a Kodak Baby Brownie and a Kodak Brownie Reflex and want to keep using them. Digital photography should not kill film just like Digital audio did not kill vinyl recordings. It is up to the users, if this format is going to stay alive we need to let the film companies know that we will buy what they provide. I feel that 127 in E-6, B&W and color print with an ISO of 100/21º would be satisfying for most shooters.

Ferrania have stated they have the only 127 production machinery in Europe, (actually they say the planet) is this the Maco source?
This seems to have passed early 2014 now. Revived because of the kickstarter project which may breath new life into the wish.

I wouldn't know, Chris, all I can do is quote the chap I mentioned above - this hit my inbox in early September:
"Here's the good news...
Already making its way to us at Retro Photo Supplies is a small quantity of 127 b/w film called Rera-Pan 100. This film is spooled by a small factory in Japan and will be available from next week in restricted quantities.
Future European 127 film production
We hope to bring you both color and black and white film freshly made in Europe, very soon. As I understand the situation, our colleagues in Europe are in the process of testing machinery and solving some technical issues before production can start fully."
The Rera Pan seems to have sold out even at £8.99 a roll, max order 5 rolls.

ETA Funnily enough, just realised that I'm scanning some 1930s 127 contact prints as I write.

Shouldn't have looked at this thread. Always wanted a baby Rollei for travel.

As long as this thread has been awakened from its uneasy sleep, here is a link to Freestyle's Rera Pan offering:

There's also The Frugal Photographer in Idaho. Here's his 127 film/ordering page:

anybody have a source for 127 slide mounts? Also, what is the best technique to scan without slide mounts? I have a 35mm scanner (Minolta Dual Scan something) and Epson Photo 4990.
Thank you.
Thank you.

This is really good news! I kept shooting Efke 127 for the last year and now I have only some six rolls left. My Baby Rollei and her three Japanese sisters (Yashicas 44, 44A and 44LM) are all gleaming with joy! I might also treat myself to a Komaflex...
