I like that, sounds like a great photo opportunity!A great incentive to buy a yellow car if you want to preserve some privacy from photogawkers with a sentimental-village-life agenda. I foresee a Yellow Car movement, though a repurposing of the Yellow Bicycle movement might be better, certainly cheaper on a village-wide scale.

Yelow car photobomb! by gray1720, on FlickrAh, Constable; and was the red barrier section added by a disciple of J M W Turner ? 😀I've thought about this a bit more, and think the citizens of Bibury ought to agree to cover their cars with slate tiles to go with the roofs. This will make them more hail proof as well.
Alternatively, use protective covers, aka Auto Condoms designed to look like The Hay Wain as painted by Constable.

Be careful what you wish for. The politicians would probably outlaw photography so as to not inconvenience the driver of the yellow car. 😎...Maybe the Government should step in?
Yelow car photobomb! by gray1720, on FlickrAdrian, Perhaps the red gate has been put there to annoy the tourists after all the comments about the yellow car.
With this in mind maybe we could have a new thread: Objects Deliberately Put in a Place to Spoil the View and to Annoy Photographers. 😀
