It was my first time in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. What an awesome experience. I probably was the only one with a film camera left in the parks. But I was the main attraction ("look at the guy with the ancient camera")!

Rolleicord Vb and Kodak Ektar 100, Fuji Velvia 100

Those pics are fantastic. I did the same trip this summer with a Pentax 6x7 in my hands and a Leica on my shoulder, certainly got some weird looks...

Thanks Keytar,
the only one recognizing the 'Cord was an older German gentleman. He said "Oh my god - a Rollei! I haven't seen one of those in 20 years!" That made my day :)

Well go back to the park, show them the photos you took with the "antique" and let them throw their digital in the hot spring...

Cheers,

The user value of the old classics is very high. If you take the time and effort. The Rolleicord may look different in todays consumer culture but the pictures turns out fine.

Nice photos archeophoto! You weren't the only one with a film camera, I visited the area for the first time as well. Great place, saw my first bison.

These weren't from a twin lens reflex, but I hope it's okay to share a couple.

Beautiful pics. Just plain beautiful. I took a D90 to the top of the middle Teton last year. This year I took an M6 with Velvia 50 to Bryce Canyon Natl. park. I need to get back to Wyoming with some film.

Magnificent!

Mom had a Vb and it delights to see it used so well here. The Hassy shots are super, too.

I was there last summer, but left my Vb at home. I had to choose and the rolls of 120 wouldn't have like getting zapped several times at airports I think. That's right, I didn't see any "real" camera. But I'm quite happy with the digital pictures I took in those 2 parks. I can't wait to get back some day.

Beautiful shots! The wife and I were there 30 years ago. Mamiya Super Press 23 with mostly b/w, and Fujica ST 901 with Kodachrome.

robklurfield: My Va had odd frame spacing. This came from the interchangeable film counter. I bought a another one from the big auction site and now it's fine. (only the Va and Vb have interchangeable counters)

gorgeous images. I've never shot color in my 'cord IV, but this really tempts me. do you ever have trouble with frame spacing?
