You are making a distinction here that makes little sense: "Because something is free, I should not care if I recieved it or not."
Au Contraire. Yes, I understand that the film is free, but I also hope you understand that there was an obligation made, on behalf of Eastman Kodak, Inc., to deliver 4 rolls of their new line of color films to any of the first 22,000 who requested via the website created. They also stated that you would receive those 4 rolls exclusively in the format requested (either all 4 to be in 120 or all 4 to be in 135)
Thus far, not recieving the films (or recieving films in formats not requested) constitutes a breach of obligations.
Now, I understand that due to the free nature of the films it should not be something to sue over, but you also should understand why some are disgruntled.
