It was one of those nights... cold, wet and black... restless and unsettled...
Rain pelting down... and there was that lane way... dimly lit and narrow..
He was waiting...

Helen... That is brilliant! We have our own little 'Film Noir' episode happening here! This is getting scary... we are starting to think alike... that is a worry.
Hello... Helllllooooo.... Keith.... Helloooooooo... there may be something you should know... aren't you the man with the hat...
Thanks to everyone else for the complements.
Just a note... I would love to keep this story going, I love Helen's idea. But please think carefully about the photo you post and what direction it will take the narrative... very interested in where this story will end.

For some reason my server refuses to connect me to plynnmiller.com which is the host for the photo I'm not seeing ... this is frustrating!

Something’s amiss tonight as the Belfry was suppose to be the X’s drop point.

There would be no drop tonight, the dead man told no tales and carried with him in death the knowledge that the Artifact was safely hidden...

Word on the street is the shopkeeper’s missing daughter knows the Artifacts
whereabouts and the secrets it can reveal.
