I blame all you guys for making me bid and win on a Yashica CC.

Oh man, I need to buy more film!

Well, I for one , am well and truly sorry - now send it to me and I am sure you will feel a lot better..... ;)

Cheers,

It's truly a horrible addiction... just embrace it now and you'll be a lot happier.

I hate to see what you say to us when the Leica M virus gets to you...

Stu :)

We have not even Begun!

Have you read the Bright Viewfinder Envy Thread!

Eric, Have you ever looked at a Leica?

No really, this is IT. No more 35mm. I'm really mostly a medium format guy. So 35mm's are fun for me to play with. I wasn't expecting to get a Yashica CC but my Oly XA also has a 35mm lens and I love to carry that around. I noticed really good CC's go for >$100 bucks so I bid 60 for one thinking I wouldn't get it. Left for work, and when I got in, I got email saying I won. I guess I'm not going to get that Konica S2 from Greg Weber. The XA is good but the shutter button is flakey and sometimes, the shot gets away cause I got to play with the shutter.

60 bucks for a Yashica 35CC, I take it back, you don't suck. :0

In my RF kit I have the Bessa L (I know: not really an RF) with 25/4 and the Bessa R with 35/2.5; buried cleverly 'neath the two, a Yashica GSN. When portrait op presents itself, I pull out the GSN. At $17.50 (ebay) I think of all the money I didn't have to spend for that Nokton.

Now you need a beautiful, black Yashica GT.

I picked up a GT this weekend at the flea market for $5. Seems fine mechanically, but I haven't tried it with a battery yet. Now if I could just get a CC for $5....

? Did I bid too much? I don't really know what they go for. But according to yashica guy, they are rare.

most of them go for more than 100 USD so I'd say you did allright ;)
