If you are in Europe and ordered a R2A from a fellow RFF member, then waited a few days, ordered a 40mm Nokton and a 50mm Summilux, also from RFF members, and the lenses arrive before the body!

And now I am sitting here, playing around with the Nokton.. waiting for the body...

patience is very hard at times like these!

Equally painful - Living in the US, staring at great buys from a seller in Finland or Australia and the shipping charges make it out of your range. That's the way it goes.

I'm familiar with your frustration.
I got my M-Hex 50/2.0 also from a RFF member, way before I had any body to put it on.
I didn't have the budjet for a bessa, so I played around with it for several months
until I had enough money for one.
Now I have the R3A, and I'm HAPPY.
Patience....

you know what's painful, to get to the city center in pouring cold rain and stormy wind on a bycicle, just to find out that the lab is CLOSED and i cannot pick up my 27 rolls of developed film!!!

Being pinched on the buttocks by an evil midget with filed fingernails is one of the things I can think of that's always painful, that I can think of offhand....

More painful - Living in Finland and comparing the US prices to Finnish prices. You lucky get your camera gear something like 40 per cent cheaper.

Even more painful - looking at B&H from Finland and realizing that the cheapest postage FOR A FILTER was 35$...!

Anyone want to send me a 39mm UV for a bit less?

Why order a single 39mm filter outside Finland?

Trying to find one (for a nice price, if at all!) in Finland seems to be a bit difficult. Quess I'll just have to accept that I have to pay myself sick for one.

http://www.teknofokus.fi/Foto/renkaat/heliopan.htm

Teknofokus imports Heliopan filters to Finland and one 39mm UV filter costs something like 20 euros (multicoated 34). I reckon getting one from them is the best, easiest and cheapest way for you to go.
