.... You have been printing all day, you are washing prints in trays in the garden at night and know you won't be in bed until 2am. You are cooking a fry up instead of dinner, running out to rock trays, wondering if the badgers will eat your prints if they are left in the trays until morning. Because they might.

Why do I commit to 20x24 prints (for which I don't have an upright slot washer) with the sill notion of not taking forever this time?

I just hope the prints are worth it....

Did 3'x5' linen panels using liquid light once. (and ONLY once...)
It seemed like a good idea at the time...

We used to print on Kodak Mural Paper. It was a matt finish on thin stock with no bartya (white clay) coating between the paper and the emulsion so it wouldn't crack if bent. The rolls were 54 inches wide. They made a similar paper with a litho emulsion that was extremely high contrast. The "matching" film was Kodalith Ortho Type 3, also in 54" rolls and coated on an extremely thin base. You worked with a red safelight. The speed was about ASA 3.

We processed and washed the stuff in some really huge sinks!
