I like her (?) use of High Contrast and the framing is more like "ART" not photography. Thanks for sharing the link.

I emailed him and asked what he uses to make those terrific images. Here's what he said:
Basically I use two prime lenses for two film cameras that are two NIKON nFM2 and 28mm/f2.8 and 50mm/f1.8.
And just in case I have another one, Leica M5 and summicron 35mm/f2.8.
His work is very emotionally evocative for me. On a "viewer" level, I don't wonder about his methods, or lack of razor-sharp images, or lack of color. On a photographer level, it's great reinforcement to realize that good work can be done with simple tools if the story is interesting enough.

i love it. the old man and dog series is very depressing but haunting as well.
