So I sent my Minolta CLE in for repair in March. Dealing with the owner on the phone and via email was great. Very responsive at the time. I sent it to him as he was the only one that showed knowledge of and the willingness to work on a CLE.
I was told it would be 1 month, tops, before I'd get my camera back.

It is now nearly July, and the last time the owner responded to an email was over a month ago, promising it would done shortly. He since has not picked up the phone when I call (it goes straight to a message) nor has responded to my polite emails.

I am in California. The shop is thousands of miles away. He has my camera. I cannot get hold of him. Any suggestions?

I don't want to name names just yet, as I hope it gets worked out.
(It is NOT DAG, Sherry, Youxin)

It is an impossible situation. The only thing you can do (practically speaking) is to continue to try to get in touch with him and hope for the best.
