...it's here!

my 100/3.5 canon lens arrived after only 4 days in the mail.

(actually 6 days in the system but we don't get saturday service)
so only 4 canadian days of service.

i'm in shock! total absolute friggin shock.

and it's in very nice shape, about the only complaint is the aperture ring is a tad loose and has a bit of a rattle.
but the cosmetics are great, the glass is clean and has a very few very faint cleaning marks. it takes a hood or filter no problem and geez, but i forgot just how tiny this lens is. very very tiny!!

happy happy happy

The Canadian Post finally got tired of the "bad press" from the RFF - LOL.

hey, maybe they took my name off THE LIST?!

of course this happens now that i stop buying stuff.
it must be part of a bigger master type plan.

Let's hope that Canadian post is working just as quickly outbound from your address so your cast-off 100/4 arrives in my hands soon!

i hope so too!

your $$ arrived pretty quick so maybe the balance will work out.

and please don't think of her as a cast off, she is a lovely piece of equipment, in very nice shape and very capable.

You've got it. They know that in mid July there will be a rather large package heading back to Edmonton which they have decided to focus on.

Can you picture Joe sitting on a table surrounded by parcels for weeks? He should be glowing after the third time through the high intensity x-ray.

I think a slightly loose aperture ring is normal on this lens.

i wonder why?

would it change after a cla?

i'm thinking of taking all my lenses and sending them off, maybe 2 at a time, over the winter for a cla each.
i'm pretty content with this kit so i might as well get it as fit as possible.
