Your #1 Favorite from the gallery for 2011

With the gallery down I started looking through old favorites last night. It then dawned on me to start this thread.
I know there are a few weeks left in 2011 but, maybe it's not a bad time to post your #1 favorite gallery post from 2011.
There are so many great moments captured in so many different "Genre" posted in our gallery.
Choosing only one is not easy but since it's personal I think we will see many different choices.



I love this image in every way. It's one I wish I made myself and that feeling does not come often. It is timeless, charming, and humorous. A joy to view!

this is a good idea. i will wait until january 1 to make my final choice. and it will be surprisingly easy, i think, from among half a dozen or so bests ...

I am not sure if I can pick one. I have been impacted by a lot of photographs this year and since I clean out my favorites file every now and then. I don't remember a lot of the good ones that I deleted. If I had known about this I would have saved a few more in my favorites file. I will be anxious to see what gets picked here by others. I will try to come up with something later. Jim

Thanks Andy - great to see that picture up there. I saw the title of the thread and thought - that sounds like a good idea - the last thing I expected to see was my own picture. She had been having a lesson with her teacher and I'd taken a quick snap of them both and as I walked up behind her to go out of the room she looked over her shoulder and up at me and I thought- aha!
I will certainly choose and post my own favourite once the Christmas mayhem has died down. Looking forward to seeing the thread develop.
