90mm Summicron, use it fairly regularly. Shoot a lot of musicians, so it's my go-to lens for close-up shots.

When I want to get a closer shot.

I have an Elmarit 90/2.8 and it is a wonderful lens, but I hardly ever use it. And yet I feel it is a must have. Am I alone? Or are there folks who use theirs a lot? 😕🙂

It is a very beautiful lens, indeed. But given its aperture, I tend to use it only during the Summer. Also, since it's far longer than my 90mm Summicron, it doesn't "get along" very nicely with the other lenses in the camera bag. Also, since it's very prone to flare, I carry the shade for it, which takes even more space (and if I leave it on the lens, even on "put away" mode, it becomes bulkier than the 90mm Summicron).

I prefer it for portraits over the 90mm Summicron, though.

I've got a ZM 2/85 that I use a fair bit, though not as much as the 50 or 35, and a 4/135 Elmar (not the tele-elmar) that I've actually used much more than I expected. Both a lovely lenses, though they have different looks of course, and are far more useful on the M9 than I excpecetd (this applies more to the 135 of course).
