The other day, I repaired the rewind knob on my Nikon FM2n which had been damaged in a fall a few months back. Ever since, I can't seem put the thing down. It is such an amazing machine, I'm in awe of it, particularly since it is fully functional at all shutter speeds without batteries. As far as film cameras go, my F3HP is better built and gets more use for a variety of reasons, but the FM2n is my emotional favorite. It has been used pretty heavily and looks it, but it would probably be the last of my cameras I would part with.
What would you say is your favorite SLR?

Nikon f6: just falls into the hands perfectly.

I've only owned two, the legendary Pentax k1000 that I learned photography on, and my Digilux 3, which is great because it's so versatile and able to use older manual focus lenses.
I'm pretty sure the 5D would be up there too, if I'd ever own one....

many different cameras have passed through my hands. at the moment, my favourite is a black om1, but an om4 is on its way to me, as is a contax rts. we'll see. nikon f3 and f4 are near the top as well. by the f4, cameras had "jumped the shark" imo.

Call it what you will, but I love the heft of my Nikon F -- no frills, just durable and reliable.

Pentax LX. Feels just about perfect to me.

Best I've used was an EOS 1N, but I've always wanted to try out a Leica R system.

Is it heresy to say Canon 1Ds II?

I shot with my Nikon f100 this weekend, and found myself wondering why not just sell everything else.

Nikon F2. To me, the perfect camera, a mix of aesthetic beauty and functionality.

Tie between the Olympus OM2 and the Nikon FM3a. The Oly because it was my first love but the FM3a because it was my most passionate.

Nikon F6. Throw a 20-35mm nikkor & you got killer package, bar none.

The Pentax MX that got me thru J-school in college and a Nikon FE that I just love. Can't tell you why but that camera just seems right to me.

For the Weekend
I've only owned three SLRs, but two of them are all-time favorites, the D700 and the K1000. When I finally have the free time and spare loot to resume shooting some film, I want to pick up an F2 photomic, an F5, and an FG (there will also be digital slrs in the future, but that is more of an inevitability). The F2 and F5 are fantastic and gorgeous cameras, and among my favorite cameras in general (at least favorites that I havent had the opportunity to actually shoot). The FG is more of a compromise. It isn't one of Nikon's best, but it is their smallest, basically OM sized. Now that I have put this much in to Nikkor lenses, I don't want to get in to any other 35mm systems.
