I do prefer the version with the pull out hood.....although the nicest images I have gotten are with my 50mm Summicron R on Nikon DSLR.

Looking through this thread convinced me to go for a 50 cron instead of 50 lux. Prefer the look of cron to lux. Managed to find a good v4 type 1 (tabbed). On its way to me. Cannot wait to get my hands on it!
