By the chill wind of Red Oktober we got more than usual posts in this sub-forum, molodez. I'd like to know: what's your favourite FSU lens+non-FSU body(or vice versa) setup?
Not limited to 35mm RF. Pictures of the setup or results will be appreciated!
Canon L2 RF with Jupiter-12 35mm f/2.8 is a combo I like a lot. The L2's 0.4x peephole viewfinder for 35mm lens has really nice eye-relief. And J-12 is a killer lens for the money: the next tier LTM 35mm lens would cost at least 3 times higher at even slower f/, and you need luck to snatch them before others do.
I'm using my iPad now, will try to supply pictures later.

Bessa R with white j-8 which has focus tab. Worked without shimming. If only R build was as durable as J-8...

Bessa R & my J-3 50/1.5 is my most used & favorite setup. I just finished a roll using the I 26 52/2.8 & it doesn't like very bright sunlight, least with B&W film. I have a J-8, I61ld, & the I 50/3.5 rigid but the J-3 feels the best to me. I wont even think of trying my J12 on my Bessa but my CV35 is a much easier to use lens.

Walk thru Old Salem NC. One of my favorite places to walk only 20 mins. from my house. Same set up. Same film.

Nice work Mr. Hill.
My#1 favorite odd couple is the CV35 on my Zorki 1d.
2nd, my J-8 on the Canon P. Both are old friends.

I love my J-12s. I use them only on my Zorki cameras for now as they have to be shimmed to be used on my Leica.

J 8 on a Contax IIa, Canon IV SB + black J 12 and an I 61 (Panda) on a Bessa R or an M 6.
I had the I 61 ona a black J 8 adapted by Brian Sweeney.

Hi,
Here's one taken with the Leica M9 and an Industar-61; I got two lenses for a pound some time ago and gave one away to someone in Greece.
The photo was taken at about 3 to 4ft and at f/2.8
And here's the centre of the photo, more or less; I focused on the binocular's strap.
Regards, David

I just purchased a Jupiter 12 to stick on my IIIg. I'm looking forward to using this as a little beater/throw in my jacket setup.

When I had them it was a toss-up between a Leica M3 with a Jupiter-3, and a Pentax SV with Jupiter-9.
The lenses and the SV are long gone, now, so all I can answer with is an M2 with a Jupiter-12.
