Your Favourite Half Case ?

I'd like to get a nice half-case for my R3A but haven't seen much around save for the standard Bessa ones and the "Luigi" guy on Ebay.

What, if any, are you folks using? I'm open to suggestions.

Hi Dave,

I use a Nikon FG half case on my Bessa R when I had it, and for a Leica M. It has a slight ridge almost like a grip along the right side that your fingers on your right hand can hold.

I've just bought (arrived today!) one of the new M half-cases from Artisan & Artist in Japan -- it's a lovely thing, seems really well-made and fits the M3 like a glove. Don't know how it would do on a Bessa, but it might be of interest to any M-people here. Mine's a black one, looks just like the pics on their site. Cost was roughly Aus$155, shipped from Japan to Australia.

I used a the botton of the black Zorki-4K ER case way back, then the Bessa case that came with an ebay win on a Bessaflex. Lately, I have been more partial toward grips and trigger winders. If I had an R3A, I would get the outstanding metal Bessa Trigger winder, with built in grip and extra lugs on the side to allow vertical carry. All for the price of a good leather half case.
