Haven't ridden for a long time but seeing these pics makes me think I should think about dragging this old thing off the mezzanine floor of my shop and see if I can get it running...

How do you like that Kymco???

I was going to purchase the Vespa 300 last week and instead noticed the 2011 Triumph Bonneville SE was only NZ$3000 more so bought that instead. Arrives today and will post once I have a chance to sit on it.

I hate you guys!
Almost pulled the trigger on a Nigthawk 750 yesterday. In hindsight I am glad to pass on that one.
Sigh. And the search continued on...

film is fun
This is me moments after nearly being taken off my motorcycle (then an SV650S) by some stinger-equipped flying beast that collided with my neck while I was riding through the desert. I am not amused, and in a good deal of searing pain.

I love the Mojitos. For some reason we can only get the 125cc here in NZ. I am 90kgs+ so 125 is not optimal.

our kymcos are tough, Rogier, and much less expensive than equivalent vespas over here.

You can get a "190 kit" for that engine (Leader) that adds quite a bit of oomph if you need it

My Aprilia SR50 relaxing next to Crystal Springs Reservoir near San Francisco. 50cc 2 stroke bike handles great, fun bike!

Yeah, I should do something with it--never seems to be enough time. Technically it belongs to a friend but it's been stored up on my mezzanine for a long time and I've threatened (jokingly) to confiscate it for storage. I should just drag it down and work on it. As far as I know it was running when it went up there so it shouldn't take too much to get it running. "Restoring" it might be a another matter. In a way, if it could be made to run as is it would make a very neat "beater"...

My new toy. Sorry about the pretty bad light in parking building. Got it yesterday.
