All shots were taken a couple of weeks ago at VMCC's Banbury run, 600 pre 1931 bikes vers 70 miles of English country roads.
1903 Quadrant
Rudge Multi attacks Sunrising hill
Norton having a proper go at the sunrising hairpin.
Sunrising was used by the works test riders from the nearby factories in Birmingham, BSA , AJS and Rudge used it as a bench mark. It gets progressively steeper and has a hairpin bend halfway to slow you down .On the run many failed to make it , particularly the single speed belt drive bikes and were pushed up

Sorry to rub it in but was this thread and the other one with just bikes that made me realise how much I wanted another bike. Looking to put a little rack + bag on the back and M9 + lenses and I can travel round Auckland and the surrounds together. Happy days.
