Your prefered color and B&W film?

For slide film it's either Kodak Elite Chrome 100 or 200, for B&W, I prefer XP2, although Tri-X gets used also. I haven't used much of the T-Max I'm affraid.

I no longer shoot color print film, I've replaced that with digital.

I like http://www.dr5.com/main.html (Dr. 5) in Denver, CO (mailorder).

I also like http://www.dwaynesphoto.com/customer_service.htm which is the biggest Kodachrome lab (and does other work as well).

I don't use an ISO 200 film. I shoot Kodachrome 64, Tri-X, and all the other new films. 😕

(Then of course there's always the jug of D-76 in the basement.....)

Color for general shooting : NPH 400.

B&W for general : Tri-X 400, actually.

Between this thread and a similar one over at Nelsonfoto, I've found it terribly interesting to see that the closest thing to a consensus among the photographers at these two web sites is Fuji for color and Kodak for black and white. Plenty of folks for other options (especially Ilford), mind, but overall that seems to be how the trend goes.

And a real love of Reala seems common.

No real significance to this - but do I find it terribly fun to ponder. 😀

I have watched this thread with great interest. Looks like Reala will be the first roll shot out of my M7-TI. I picked up 8 rolls of Reala and 10 rolls of Tri-X.

I am so excited about the new toy arriving today! I was scared that the TS Ernesto was going to stop the FedEx plan but don't see any problems after it fizzed!
