I've only had a rangefinder since February this year. I use it most of the time now but I still find SLRs fun, and they have certain advantages:
1. When you want to use a wide (24mm here) lens that you don't have for your rf, and/or you want to use filters more conveniently:
rio grande bridge near taos, new mexico (yellow/green filter)
ranchos de taos, new mexico (orange filter)
2. Also, when you want to shoot with a film you don't have loaded in your rf, such as portra:
las vegas, nevada (50mm).
All were taken with an R8 - not nearly as portable, light and convenient as an rf, but exquisite.

My main area of photography is underwater photography. This image was taken with my D70S camera in a Subal housing using two Inon strobes. The lens was a Tokina 10-17 Fisheye lens. When used underwater, Fisheye lenses generally don't show the typical Fisheye distortion as there are usually no straight lines underwater. I took the image at Wakatobi Dive Resort last year. The location is Indonesia, where some of the world's best underwater photography sites can be found. Enjoy!
