Real Men Shoot Film.
It was that brightly lit area in the background, it threw off the meter and caused the foreground, where the people were, to be underexposed. For tricky lighting like that, manual exposure is best. Take a reading off the desktops and maybe give a stop more than that indicates since the people are wearing black (if you accidently overexpose a bit, it is ok with color neg film, it can tolerate a LOT of overexposure, but no underexposure).

I used the not very loved Rolleiflex SL35e + 50mm f1.8 Planar + ilford Fp4+ @ 400 on HC-110 (20min).
I simply love the bokeh
Fp4 at 400 was a mistake, I thought I had HP5 inside camera... results were usable...gohaj

Who stole my light?
I use SLR for just about anything, although since i've gotten an m6, I rarely use my SLR for film (I only shoot B&W film anyways)... Film is pretty much for my personal stuff, things that won't get developed for a month or so...
Digital is pretty much my SLR work and I use it for everything the newspaper needs since they need it tonight. Clients want it by tomorrow night. I want to be able to tell whether I got the shot right now... SLR is a requirement for fast action sports, although so often I just hate the mirror coming up and blocking the view on my peak action shot. No RF can match an SLR for fps and long lens'.
Flash is also much superior on SLR since they offer a more comprehensive metering system. DSLR are also my got-to when it comes to very poor light. When I'm down to 1/20th of a sec wide open... I know I'm gona have to push the ISO. Film isn't versatile enough, I can't hae one shot at 1600 and the next at 400 and the next 15 shots at 3200; the noise in digital, although ugly, doesn't show up at all when printed on newspaper ultrabrite paper.
