Canon 400D, 35mm f/2. While out shooting with friends today.

Normally if I use a (film) SLR it's an old one fitted with a prime lens but just for a change I tried BW400CN in a Minolta Dynax 7 with 35-105mm zoom. I'll swear that having a zoom actually made composition more difficult :)

Cheers, Robin

I love the way the bird's plumage is echoed by the foliage - great shot!

So many great photos above. Punkromance - excellent set there; especially the first, and the last - well spotted and conceived.

Currently exploring ways to depict motion, this time simplest form of it.

I mostly use rangefinders, but have picked up several 35mm SLRs in the past few years, as they are so darn cheap nowadays in the thrift stores. The SLR I use most is a slightly brassed Fujica ST801 from the early '70s.

Attached photo is outside the big tent of a recent Circus Vargas, using the Fujica, a 28mm f3/5 Takumar, and Fuji 200 C-41 film scanned by Walgreen's, and then converted to B&W.
